Tina Garrett

Tina Garrett (Born 1974) is active/lives in California, Colorado.  Tina Garrett is known for Figure painting.

Tina Garrett was born in 1974 in San Diego, California, USA. Her hands still bear the scars from when she was knocked out of her mother’s arms and into a campfire at age two. Suffering third degree burns on her hands and lower arms, nothing could keep Tina from painting the works that help her transcend the ugliness of life’s trials. She hid her scars for most of her childhood, but it is with courage that Tina uses those same hands and all of her life’s experience to paint a more idealized existence. Tina holds an Associate of Applied Science in Visual Communication from the Colorado Institute of Art Denver.

Tina Garrett was born in 1974 in San Diego, California, USA. Her hands still bear the scars from when she was knocked out of her mother’s arms and into a campfire at age two. Exhibition at Gormley’s Galleries in Belfast and Dublin, Ireland.

Tina has been interviewed by several media outlets including International Artist Magazine, Southwest Art Magazine, American Art Collector Magazine, Art of the West Magazine as well as TV interviews with the Kansas City NBC and CBS affiliate stations.

Tina teaches oil painting across the US and abroad at fine art ateliers such as The Scottsdale Artists School, Village Arts of Putney, The Florence Studio Italy, and The Dutch Atelier of Realist Art Netherlands.
